1. Sofia Vergara's blue, strapless Vera Wang mermaid gown was one of many mermaid gowns of the night but she definitely looked hot in it. Hot enough to win a Golden Globe!
2. This risky Atelier Versace gown with red detailing would have been all wrong on anyone else, it would have looked like a bridesmaid's dress. But on Angelina Jolie it looks radiant. We love the pop of the red purse and her red lips. We're not, however, crazy about her severe chignon hairdo.
3. Claire Danes took a major fashion risk on the red carpet in this open-backed, graphic black and white J Mendel gown, and that risk paid off with her win of the night for her role in Homeland! Congratulations, Ms. Danes.
